Bounce the target

This week in room 7 for homework we all had to draw or make a game that included a soccer ball because for p.e we are doing soccer. I made a game called bounce the target .

Show and tell

Hannah, Alissa and Ella did a show and tell to Room 7 on Tuesday. Hannah showed a glow ball toy,Ella showed her picture book and Alissa brought in her iPod touch.

Ethan's Rad Rugby Photos

On Saturday I went to the Lego movie with my dad and mum. My favourite part of the movie was when Emett had to drive a motorbike and he crashed into all of the cops

I got an invitation to see the Crusaders and go to the Crusaders vs Brumbies game. The Crusaders smashed the Brumbies by 20! I got to play a little game of rugby with the Crusaders after they finished playing the Brumbies. My team won against the Crusaders! Some of the Crusaders I got to see were Owen Franks, Zac Guildford and Corey Flynn. 

Alex's trampoline fun

On Sunday me and my cousins went to ice trampoline in Rangiora. We went past the old mill. When I  got there I ran and jumped in the foam pit. I did millions of flips too!

In my holidays I wore my pjs and I played with Liam's Lego. It was my sister Kristal's birthday party too. We played musical statues. I also played on the swing in the tree.

Jackson's Inflatable Fun

In the holidays my family and I went to a place called Inflatable World. It was our first time there. It was the funnest place ever! I got to the top of the climbing wall. You could see the whole area from the top. I got to the top of the fly wall too. That was the best holiday ever.

Term 2 is Here !

Kia Ora Room 7 !

I hope you have all been having a super holiday and haven't been getting too wet with all this rain.
Here are my 2 favourite things about the rain...

• It makes puddles that you can splash around in
• You can snuggle up in your blankey to keep warm

So I have been making sure I have been visiting the classroom to feed our tadpoles (as promised)
and boy have they got big! I'd say they are going to grow legs and be hopping around in no time! I was going to put a picture up but thought it would be better for you to see them for yourselves. You won't believe your eyes!

Make sure you have a think over the next few days for some cool names for them. Try and See if you can think of 3. One for the big one, the medium one and the teeny one. We will put them all in a jar and pull out the names on Monday.

Also a reminder that if you have any photos of you and your family doing things in the holidays you can email them to me (Vanessa.randall@hotmail.com) and then when you are back at school you can create a post and put it on the blog.

Happy Heart

Look what I saw when I went into school yesterday. A splash of water on the ramp in the shape of a heart. I think it is a sign that we are all going to LOVE Term 2!
