Beautiful Bunting

Room 7 made some awesome bunting for Mr Bangma, Mrs Weekes, Victoria and Heather. They were stunned with our work because it had lots of quality. We used really strong colours to make it look good. They put them up in their offices. We made some bunting for our classroom too. Before we gave the bunting to everyone we used them to decorate the hall for our school assembly that we hosted.

Best Waste free Wednesday yet!

WEEK 11

This has been Room 7's best Waste free Wednesday this term. We had 12 Waste free lunch boxes. That's one more than last week and almost half of the class! Next term I think that we are going to have more than 12 lunch boxes.

Another successful Wednesday!

WEEK 10

Wow, what another successful waste free Wednesday. This week we had 11 people instead of 4 with waste free lunch boxes. Some of the lunch boxes have plastic seal bags and plastic containers. We are counting these because they are reusable. I wonder how many we will have next time.

Best assembly ever!

Room 7 (and all of the other year 3 and 4's)
You made me smile as big as this monkey after watching you run the full school assembly today. You should all be very, very proud of what you have achieved. You all spoke clearly and confidently and you really looked like you were enjoying yourself! Everybody that was in the hall left with a smile on their faces and that is because of the great job you did.

Anti-bullying song goes viral

On Monday for our current events we read an article about an anti- bullying song. After we read the article we watched a video of the song. The song is called One voice. You can watch it below. You can also see some of our work that we did that tells you how and why the singer created the song.

 

Waste Free Wednesday

WEEK 9

We were looking at class blogs from other schools and then we saw something cool. It was an idea called waste free Wednesday from Pakuranga Heights School. It was Wednesday when we saw it so we decided to do it that day because it helps the environment by not having rubbish in our lunch boxes. There were 4 lunch boxes in our class that were already waste free without us even planning it! We were amazed! We are going to keep on doing it every Wednesday. We are going to put a photo on the blog so you guys can see it.
